Our first harvest

A joy cutting flowers for our first bouquets. We have read that clean storage containers and cutting utensils are essential in minimising the growth of bacteria, in and around the stem of the bloom, and restricting the ability of the flower to take up water and fully hydrate. Well hydrated flowers are more likely to maintain their structure, form and visual impact for longer once placed in a vase.
